The Derby and Preakness winners won’t be running. But Belmont Stakes Day will certainly be one of the most important betting days of the year for David Chamberlain, George Chute, Chris Larmey, Douglas Schenk and Steve Abelman. They are the five HorseTourneys qualifiers who won $10,000 buy-ins to this weekend’s Belmont Stakes Betting Challenge.
Some may think that the coming weekend represents a calm before next weekend’s storm—what with the Belmont Stakes and our $75,000 Guaranteed tournament slated for June 10. But there is plenty of action to be had this Friday, Saturday and Sunday—including your first shots at some old favorites.

It’s always a letdown when the cold reality sets in that there will be no Triple Crown winner. But even though no HorseTourneys player managed to win three tournaments this weekend, we’re still very proud of those who managed to win two.
