In case you haven’t already come across this one this week, we thought we’d share with you a piece written by Alex Scordelis for RollingStone.com on last month’s National Handicapping Championship.
Sometimes you can be so “on” you don’t even need to make all your plays to win a big tourney.
Here’s a look at HorseTourneys qualifiers who finished in the top 66 at last weekend’s National Handicapping Championship.
It appears to be a down weekend coming up in the NFL with only one game scheduled. So we thought we’d try to fill the void with several exciting tournaments where you can win cash, a seat to the coveted The BIG One and more.
I can’t say enough about Ray Arsenault’s performance. (His $407.70 final total was an NHC record.) When the final table participants were determined, the standings were very tight, with one exception—Ray Arsenault had a nice $30 or so lead on his nearest pursuer.
We are pleased to report that, in its February 2017 issue, American Turf Monthly magazine named HorseTourneys the winner of its annual “Best Online Tournament Site” award — one of several honors bestowed in its latest Conny Awards, which are dedicated to “Recognizing the best in handicapping tournaments in 2016.”
