First Chances for Keeneland Fall, HPWS, Orleans Fall Classic and Laurel Plus $15,000 Guaranteed Game Contribute to Exciting Weekend Slate

After an exciting seven days of live, brick-and-mortar action that saw HorseTourneys regulars Dan Fazzolari and Terence Cook take down the big money at Wynn and Saratoga, respectively, it’s time to zero back in on the computer screen this weekend. No travel required!

Saturday is your first chance to qualify for the Keeneland Fall NHC/BCBC Challenge where six Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge entries and 10 NHC seats will be up for grabs along with a lot of cash—all on October 15. It costs $160 to play our qualifier and one in 25 entries will win a $3,000 entry to Keeneland plus $500 for travel.

On the other end of the time spectrum, Saturday is your final chance to qualify for the August 19 Indiana Grand NHC Qualifer. This costs just $27 to play and winners receive not one but two entries out in Hoosierland.

It’s neither a first nor last chance, but the Monmouth Super Qualifier on August 26 is always worth playing for. One in 15 entries (at $77 each) will head to the Jersey Shore with a shot at money, seven NHC seats and two BCBC spots.

And cash gamers will want to get in on Saturday’s $15,000 Guaranteed game with $7,000 to the victor and prizes down to 7th place. Entry for this is $195 and entries will be capped at 86.

Note that the above four Saturday featured tourneys are all Pick & Prays. Here is a visual for your reference.

The big game on Saturday at HorsePlayers is a live-format game rather than a Pick & Pray.

It’s a two-seat-guaranteed NHC qualifier for $165. Entries are limited to a maximum of two per person.

If you like Saturday, you’ll love Sunday. We have no fewer than 11 featured games scheduled.

Perhaps the most notable is the first qualifier for the 2018 Horse Player World Series. (It feels odd to be typing 2018 already.) This is an entry-only qualifier with one in 20 entries (at $87 each) winning a $1,500 entry for the March 8-10 event at The Orleans.

Speaking of The Orleans—and speaking of new—we’ve also added the Orleans Fall Classic (October 5-7) to our roster of qualifying destinations. Put up $58 on Sunday and you’ll have a one in 10 chance of winning a $500 entry.

HorseTourneys will have an NHC qualifier of its own on Sunday. Again, the entry fee is $165, but this time it will be a Pick & Pray.

Another lucrative Sunday Pick & Pray is our qualifier to The BIG One on September 23-24 at Laurel. Two all-inclusive packages will be awarded to the select, high-expectation tourney. If you’ve been toying with the idea of playing in The BIG One but haven’t yet tried in earnest, ask someone who’s played in it what it’s like. His or her answer will likely tell you all you need to know.

For the most part, HorseTourneys is the only way to earn a spot in The BIG One. There are, however, two exceptions. You can buy in for $9,000 by contacting us. Or you can win a seat at one of two onsite tournaments at Laurel. The second and final of these is the Laurel Champions Tournament on August 19, and you can qualify for that—on a one-time-only basis—right here on Sunday for just $35. The Laurel Champions Tourney is a live-bankroll competition that also offers two NHC seats and a BCBC entry in addition to its The BIG One package.

The Laurel Champions Tourney qualifier is sort of both a first and last chance game. Our Sunday qualifier to the Ellis Park Bluegrass Tournament on August 20 is definitely just a last chance event. But with the Bluegrass Tournaments 100% payback and four NHC seats at stake on top of the 100% cash payback, you’ll be blue if you don’t qualify (or at least attempt to qualify) for it.

Sunday will also bring an opportunity to qualify for the September 16 Woodbine Mile Handicapping Tournament. This game will be run in live-format with one in 25 entries earning a $3,500 (Canadian) entry plus $500 (American) for travel. If interested in any other currencies, please visit the currency exchange window at your nearest international airport.

Last but far from least, our Sunday cash game devotees have come to love and expect our two Sunday offerings—the $10,000 Guaranteed game with $5,000 up top; and our $3,500 Guaranteed Exacta tournament where having a good day with three-horse exacta boxes can reward you to the tune of $1,400 (for just a $72 entry fee).

Here is an overview of our robust Sunday featured schedule:

And we didn’t forget the doings at HorsePlayers.

The BCBC Low Ratio game was a very fast sellout. The bad news is: we don’t expand entries to these low-ratio games. The good news is: when they are this popular, it is likely you will see several more such tourneys scheduled in the upcoming weeks.

Not yet sold out is our traditional BCBC qualifier at HorsePlayers with an entry fee of $179. One $10,000 entry is guaranteed regardless of participation in this live-format event.

Before we sign off, we want to remind you about a very nice slate of Arlington-only tourneys on the board for Saturday—Arlington Million Day.

Also note that we now offer pool-style Survivor games. This allows more people in, which means you win more after you outplay, outwit and outlast them.

And mark your calendars for two Saturdays from now—August 26. That’s the date of our big $100,000 Guaranteed game—one you won’t want to miss.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. There are games to play and money to be won THIS week. We hope you get your share of not just the money…but the fun as well. Good luck!
