You may have heard that the Flo-Cal Faceoff (January 9-10, $150,000 Gtd.), the Players Championship (April 2-3) and the Spa & Surf Showdown (August 14-15) make up the new 2021 Tourney Triple series here at HorseTourneys. And you may already realize that annuity bonuses worth $2 million and $1 million are available should someone sweep the series or capture two of the three legs.
Did you know, though, that three valuable bonus prizes will definitely be won by those who perform the best across the three events?
In each event, we will award points based on a formula that allocates 100 points for a first-place finish, 99 points for second, 98 for third, down to 1 point for a 100th-place finish.(If you play multiple entries in a single tourney, only your best score counts.)
The overall points leader at the end of the Tourney Triple will receive a $10,000 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) entry and a 2022 National Horseplayers Championship (NHC) entry — or $5,000 in lieu of an NHC seat if the winner is already double-qualified to the 2022 NHC.
The person with the second-most points will earn a 2022 NHC entry (or $5,000 if already double qualified), and the third-place points earner will receive an entry to the 2021 edition of The BIG One at Laurel Park plus $500 for travel.
You needn’t do anything to become “bonus eligible.” Just play in one or more of the Tourney Triple events, and you’ll automatically be registered.
